Treedom
Zambetti Bus supports the environment.
Zambetti Bus is committed to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS) to contribute to global development and protect the environment. How? By participating in the Treedom project!
Treedom is a platform that allows people to plant trees remotely and follow their history online. In the year 2020 it crossed the milestone of as many as 1.5 million trees planted worldwide in ten years of operation!
With Treedom we participate in funding small agroforestry projects that promote the virtuous interaction between different species and sustainable use of resources and land in different parts of the world.
We contribute to planting because all trees are good for the environment: they absorb CO2, emit oxygen, promote biodiversity, combat soil erosion, and more. In addition, the contribution, also goes to the rural realities of the territories that take care of the trees and can enjoy their fruits without having to respond to the initial costs of planting.
We at Zambetti Bus have decided to allocate our contribution in Cameroon, Kenya and Tanzania with the planting of Avocado, Cocoa, Coffee, Markhamia, Leucaena and Mururuku trees for a total of 15 trees planted.
Through Treedom you support and fund farmers who want to plant trees when they are not yet productive. Your contribution also allows you to educate farmers on best agroforestry practices, both for planting and tree management.
Plants are added with full respect for the biodiversity of the land. Each tree absorbs CO2 and generates benefits for the whole planet!
The Treedom project supports the training and financing of the communities involved, enabling their empowerment and the start-up of new micro-entrepreneurships.
